First Time Login

This guide walks you through setting up your password and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). MFA adds an extra layer of security to protect your account and patient data by requiring a one-time verification code when you sign in.

1. Unlock the iPad

  1. Tap the screen to wake the device

  2. Enter the iPad passcode: 000000

  3. You will see the Home Screen

2. Set Up Your Password

  1. Open the Viscera app

  2. Locate the email with your username and temporary password

  3. Enter the temporary password to sign in

  4. Create and confirm your new personal password

3. Set Up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

After setting your password, you will be prompted to choose your authentication method.

Before continuing, check the box for: “Remember this device”
This allows you to skip MFA verification for 30 days on that iPad.

You have two options:

Option A: SMS Text

  1. Select SMS Text

  2. Enter your mobile number

  3. Tap Send Code

  4. Enter the 6-digit code sent to your phone

  5. Tap Enable & Continue

Option B: Authenticator App

  1. Select Auth App

  2. Open your authenticator app (Apple Passwords, Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy)

  3. Scan the QR code displayed in the Viscera app

  4. Enter the 6-digit code generated by your app

  5. Tap Enable & Continue

You’re now fully logged in.
